Supervisor of Elections Lori Scott Collects 425 Pounds of Food for Christmas Food Drive

Over the past nine years, more than 3,100 pounds of food have been collected

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Supervisor Lori Scott and her staff donated over 425 pounds of collected food to WESH 2’s Share Your Christmas Food Drive, benefitting central Florida families in need.

“For the past nine years, my office has collected over 3,100 pounds of non-perishable donations for the Share Your Christmas Food Drive,” said Supervisor Scott.

“Each year I have been touched by the outpouring of support from my staff and others in the community who have chosen to give to help those in need,” said Supervisor Scott.

The collected donations are shared with the Second Harvest Food Bank, which works with over 550 grassroots organizations across Central Florida to distribute the food to needy families.
