Tree lighting ceremony set for 7 p.m.

The official Tree Lighting Ceremony for the City of Palm Bay Christmas tree will take place during December’s First Friday by the Bay event on Friday, December 8 at 7 p.m.

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The official Tree Lighting Ceremony for the City of Palm Bay Christmas tree will take place during December’s First Friday by the Bay event on Friday, December 7 at 7 p.m.

First Friday by the Bay is held on the first Friday of each month at Celebration Square, 4600 Dixie Hwy, in Palm Bay and features live music, merchandise & food vendors, beer, wine & specialty drinks, and a kids’ zone. There is free parking and admission is free.

The event will begin at 5 p.m. with DJ Rog. At 6 p.m. Blue Stone Circle will take the stage.

The tree lighting ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. and will feature the Heritage High School Show Choir, the lighting of the city tree decorated with ornaments made by local elementary school children, and a visit from Santa Claus.
