BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Parks & Recreation Department’s monthly First Friday by the Bay event continues February 1 featuring a free concert by Across the Universe.
Free First Friday Concerts take place on the First Friday of each month at Celebration Square, 4600 Dixie Hwy, at the corner of U.S. 1 and Port Malabar Boulevard, and feature a different genre of music each month. Gates open at 5 p.m. and live music begins at 6 p.m.
First Friday events feature live music, food trucks, beer & wine sales, vendors, and a bounce house and kids zone.
Admission and parking is free and all ages are welcome. DJ Rog will kick off the evening at 5 p.m. and get you dancing during band breaks. At 6 p.m., Across the Universe will take the stage.
Across the Universe is the premier musical tribute to the music of Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and Starr. Their repertoire consists of selected music from the Beatles, Wings, and the Lads solo careers.
Unlike most Beatles tribute bands consisting of actors with instruments, Across the Universe members are professional studio musicians who combine the sound of the original recordings with a high energy show to bring you the most authentic Beatles experience anywhere.
