Melbourne Man Pleads Guilty To Second-Degree Murder After Killing Roommate For ‘Being Too Messy’

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA (WESH) – A man who stabbed his roommate because he was too messy pleaded guilty to second degree murder.
Anthony Cannone pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on Wednesday.
Prosecutors said the murder at the Melbourne home two years ago was premeditated and carried out while the victim was in bed.
According to prosecutors, Cannone stabbed his sleeping roommate multiple times in the chest and arms then he called police and told them.
“Who’d you kill?” the emergency dispatcher asked.
“I’m not gonna tell you,” Cannone responded.
