BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College sophomore guard Ayo Dada hit eight 3-pointers in the second half to lead the men’s basketball team past Santa Fe 74-68 in a Mid-Florida Conference game Wednesday night at Titan Field House.

Dada finished with nine 3-pointers, which is the most by a Titan under head coach Jeremy Shulman. The Titans needed every one of them as they did not take the lead against Santa Fe until Jalen Warren’s runner with four minutes and 10 seconds remaining in the game.

Dada would hit his ninth 3-pointer of the night to give the Titans a four-point lead at 70-66.

The teams traded 3-pointers for much of the second half as Santa Fe seemed to match the Titans basket for basket. The Saints had four players finish in double figures in the game.

Dada’s 29-point night was his career best as a Titan and said he can’t remember ever having a game with nine 3-pointers.
