BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Space Coast residents and Florida Tech students and faculty will take an artistic journey as the university holds its 4th annual African-American Read-In from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, in Evans Library.

The event will be moderated by Joni Oglesby, Ph.D., vice president of resource development at the United Way of Brevard and a former Florida Tech executive.

Among the presenters will be Florida Tech’s Winston Scott. Artists represented will include Toni Morrison, Billie Holiday, Maya Angelou, Langston Hughes and Zora Neale Hurston.
