Six Eastern Florida State College Basketball Players Named to All-Mid-Florida Conference Team

Sophomores Jalen Warren, Ayo Dada and Nick Stampley named to the first team
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Six members of the Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball players were named to the all-Mid-Florida Conference team on Thursday.
Sophomores Jalen Warren, Ayo Dada and Nick Stampley were all named to the first team while sophomores Junior Madut and Ilija Stefanovic along with freshman Jonathan Ned made the second team.
Warren is averaging 12 points per game this season with 5.4 assists and four rebounds this season.
Dada is averaging 9.7 points this season and has had a nine 3-pointer game and has hit 47 3-pointers this season.
Stampley is averaging 10.4 points and seven rebounds per game this season with three double doubles.
Junior Madut has started all 28 games this season for the Titans and is averaging nine points and six rebounds per game. Ilija Stefanovic has become a starter late in the season and is averaging 5.3 rebounds to go with 4.9 points while Jonathan Ned is averaging 10.5 points.
“I am just so proud of the six guys for being honored by the conference,” Eastern Florida State College men’s basketball coach Jeremy Shulman said. “It’s such a testament to our special and deep team to have this many guys honored between the first and second teams. These guys have been such a blessing to coach this season.”
Head coach Jeremy Shulman was named the coach of the year in the Mid-Florida Conference for the second straight season and has now been named the coach of the year in his conference the past seven seasons.
“I am incredibly honored to be named Coach of the Year again this year, but obviously I am only receiving this honor because of my amazing team,” Shulman said. “These guys are phenomenal to coach every day and I am the lucky one to be able to do that.”
The Titans will wrap up the regular season at Santa Fe on Saturday before heading to Ocala for the state tournament March 7-9.
