Suspect Arrested By Police After Shooting On University Blvd. Monday Morning

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police have arrested a suspect in a shooting that occurred on University Blvd. Monday morning.
The shooting happened around 9 a.m. after police say a man was shot when he confronted the gunman.
Police were able to track down the suspect on a bicycle Monday afternoon.
The suspect was taken into custody.
The status of the shooting victim is not known at this time.
