Tennis Tips from Space Coast Sports Hall of Famer Mark Harrison
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – One of the qualities that often separates the successful tennis player from the unsuccessful one is their ability to play percentage tennis by making good decisions.
They rarely gamble during points by taking risky low percentage shots that can backfire.
A good strategy for percentage tennis in singles is to stroke your groundstrokes crosscourt when you are behind the baseline,
Play your approach shots down the line, hit your first volley deep and angle your second volley off the court and serve a high percentage of first serves.
Remember your serve is the most important stroke in the game and you’re only as good as your second serve.
Good luck and keep the ball in play!
