BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Space Coast Harley-Davidson, located at 1440 Sportsman Lane NE in Palm Bay, Florida, is hosting the Crock Fest this weekend with superstars Melanie; Derek St. Holmes, Ted Nugent Lead Singer/Guitarist; Hendrix By Hendrix, featuring Regi Hendrix and Gerardo Velez from original Woodstock 1969 on percussion and vocals; Iron Butterfly; and other special guest stars will perform during this three day extravaganza through Sunday.
In August 1969, Woodstock took place on a dairy farm in Bethel, New York and this year, the biggest and most legendary music festival the world has ever seen will celebrate its 50th anniversary.
Over half a million people came to a 600-acre farm to hear 32 acts including leading and emerging performers of the time play over the course of four days, August 15-18.
Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix, the Grateful Dead, the Who, Janis Joplin and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young were among the line-up.
Kickstart to the Woodstock Experience 2019 at Space Coast Harley performers include singer/songwriter Melanie, who is best known for her hits “Brand New Key”, “Ruby Tuesday,” “What Have They Done to My Song Ma,” and her song about performing at the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival, “Lay Down (Candles in the Rain),” Jimi Hendrix’s nephew Regi Hendrix, Gerardo Velez who also performed at Woodstock with Jimi Hendrix and Derek St. Holmes, lead singer of the Ted Nugent Band.
