BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Tarheels, a member of the Florida Champion Football League, continues its 2019 regular season on Saturday, February 23 as the team takes on the Bay Area Reapers at Jay Donnelly filed at  Astronaut High School.

The Tarheels will play all its home games at Astronaut High School, located at 800 War Eagle Boulevard in Titusville. Kick off is at 7 p.m.

The Tar Heels are dedicating the rest of their season to the wife of defensive coordinator, David Dye.

Dye’s wife, Tandra Rayner-Dye passed away following her battle with Multiple Sclerosis. The team was told after their 19-7 victory over the Miracle City Cougars in Daytona Beach last Saturday night.

Team owner Roger Lewis immediately dedicated the rest of the season to Tandra and Coach Dye.

“The rest of the Tar Heels season will be dedicated to Tandra Rayner-Dye and her family,” said Lewis. “She  loved  the  game of football and our  hearts are  heavy.”

Scoring just 38 points in two games, the Tar Heels come into tonight struggling on the offensive side of the football but when you’ve only allowed  13 points in two games, 38 is more than enough to win.

Space Coast Daily TV will Live stream the Tarheels home games on SpaceCoastDaily.com and Space Coast Daily’s Facebook page.
