Missing Brevard Teen Sophia Diaz Found Safely In South Carolina After Amber Alert Issued Overnight

15-year-old Sophia Diaz found safely in South Carolina
BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – FDLE announced Thursday morning that the Amber Alert issued for 15-year-old Sophia Diaz has been cancelled after authorities located her safely in South Carolina.
The Palm Bay Police Department issued an Amber Alert just after midnight for Diaz after she was last seen in Melbourne.
Diaz was located in Fair Play, South Carolina, after authorities found her with help from the FBI and Oconee County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina.
The suspects Karis Diaz and Curtis Clemons have been arrested and charged with felony interference with child custody.
