FHP: Motorcyclist Killed On I-95 After Being Struck By Car Driven By Titusville Man

The Florida Highway Patrol reported that motorcyclist Ralph Napoli, 64, of Manahawkin, New Jersey, was killed at 7:45 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 95 at mile marker 227.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Florida Highway Patrol reported that motorcyclist Ralph Napoli, 64, of Manahawkin, New Jersey, was killed at 7:45 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 95 at mile marker 227.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 2003 Nissan 350 Z driven by Anthony Keyes-Walls, 21, of Titusville, was traveling southbound on I-95, in the left lane.

Napoli was riding his 2010 Harley-Davidson motorcycle southbound on I-95, in front of Keyes-Walls.

FHP said that, according to witnesses, Keyes-Walls was driving at a high rate of speed and aggressively.

As Keyes-Walls approached the rear of Napoli’s motorcycle, Keyes-Walls failed to slow, and the front of the car struck the rear of the motorcycle.

Napoli was then forced off of the roadway and struck a tree. The 350 Z briefly caught fire, after the impact.

Keyes-Walls suffered minor injuries in the crash and passenger Timothy Flores, 22, of Titusville, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a blood sample was drawn from Keyes-Walls and all charges will be pending the completion of the investigation.
