OBITUARY: Freda M. Rigby, Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Mentor to All Passes Away March 7

A celebration of life set for March 23 at Covenant Presbyterian Church

Freda M. Rigby, 66, of Melbourne, passed away following her battle with cancer on March 7, 2019. Freda was a graduate of Woburn High School in Massachusetts and a longtime resident of Brevard County. 

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA– Freda M. Rigby, 66, of Melbourne, passed away following her battle with cancer on March 7, 2019.

Freda was a graduate of Woburn High School in Massachusetts and a longtime resident of Brevard County. She was a follower of Jesus and attended Covenant Presbyterian Church in Palm Bay.

Freda was an aide and VPK teacher at Covenant Christian School and she was also a distributor with Premier Designs Jewelry of Dallas, Texas.

Freda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She attended games for the sports teams of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed antiques and providing hospitality.

Freda relished living near the ocean and spending time at the beach. Her love of family, her knack for loving people, and her great sense of humor will be deeply missed.

Freda is survived by her husband of 46-years, David, and her three children Derek (with Katie), Jason (with Chari), and Ashley (with Hal).

Freda is also survived by eight beautiful grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will take place on March 23, 2019, at 10 a.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, located at 720 Emerson Drive in Palm Bay, and will include a reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall.
