BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – One pedestrian is dead and another was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Saturday, according to the Palm Bay Police Department.
The pedestrians were struck at about 8:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Malabar Road Northeast, near San Filippo Drive.
Officials said a female pedestrian died, while a male pedestrian was transported to a hospital. His condition was not known.
The pedestrians were not in a crosswalk when they were struck, officials said.
