(FOX 35) – Larry King reportedly suffered a heart attack last week after going into cardiac arrest, according to TMZ.

Sources tell the website that King had been having difficulty breathing for months and was scheduled to check himself into the hospital Thursday for an angiogram.

While he was getting ready to go to the hospital, the legendary broadcaster reportedly went into cardiac arrest, according to TMZ.

King, 85, was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where doctors performed an angioplasty. Several stents were inserted into a collapsed artery, TMZ reports.
