A Melbourne man has died after a deadly crash on State Road 528 in Orange County on Saturday.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A Melbourne man has died after a deadly crash on State Road 528 in Orange County on Saturday.

State troopers identified the man as 57-year-old Gregory Wills.

According to the investigation by Florida Highway Patrol, troopers responded to a crash near miler marker 24 around 1 p.m. about a vehicle striking a cable in the grass median.

Troopers say when they arrived on scene, witnesses already pulled Wills out of the vehicle to perform CPR.

However, Wills later died at the hospital.

Florida Highway Patrol says they are waiting to hear if Wills suffered a medical episode that resulted in the crash due to the minor damage caused to the vehicle.
