Melbourne Police Issues Traffic Advisory About U.S. 1 Continuous Green Arrow Signal Changes

Police urge all motorists to use extra caution

Melbourne police officials issued an alert to motorists that the continuous green arrow signals that allowed drivers to proceed northbound on U.S. 1 without stopping at NASA Boulevard or Cherry Street have been changed to regular traffic signals.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne police officials issued an alert to motorists that the continuous green arrow signals that allowed drivers to proceed northbound on U.S. 1 without stopping at NASA Boulevard or Cherry Street have been changed to regular traffic signals.

All traffic in all northbound lanes of U.S. 1 will now have to stop when the traffic signal is red.

Police urge all motorists to use extra caution when traveling northbound on U.S. 1 as drivers will be getting used to the new signals at these intersections.
