Palm Bay Spring Golf Classic Scheduled for Saturday, April 6 at The Majors Golf Club

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The City of Palm Bay Parks & Recreation Department will host their Inaugural Spring Golf Classic on Saturday, April 6 at The Majors Golf Club, 3425 Bayside Lakes Boulevard SE, in Palm Bay.

Check-in begins at 7 a.m. and the shotgun start is at 8 a.m.

Participants will have the chance to win a 20-foot travel trailer courtesy of Giant Recreation World of Palm Bay by sinking a hole-in-one on the 15th hole.

There will also be a luncheon catered by the Broken Barrel Tavern plus lots of door prizes and giveaways.

The cost is $60 per player or $200 per foursome. Registration is now open at the Tony Rosa Community Center, located at 1502 Port Malabar Blvd NE, 321-952-3443; or the Ted Whitlock Community Center, located at 1951 Malabar Road NW, 321-952-3231.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit recreation programs and community events in the city for all ages, such as the Holiday Light Parade, Independence Day Celebration, First Fridays by the Bay, Movies in the Park, and many more.

Proceeds will also help less fortunate kids in the community attend summer camps and swim lessons at deeply discounted rates.

The Spring Golf Classic is sponsored by Giant Recreation World of Palm Bay, Broken Barrel Tavern, Thrifty Specialty Produce & Meats, Animal Medical Clinic, Beef O’Brady’s Lake Washington, Janitorial Depot of America, Joe Raley State Farm Insurance Agency, Launch Federal Credit Union, One Insurance Group, and Wesco Turf Inc.

Sponsorships are still available for as little as $100.
