Study Shows Full Beards Carry More Bacteria Than Dogs Fur, According to Scientists

(WESH) – Growing a full beard is quite trendy these days but how sanitary is it? According to scientists, you might want to hug your dog before hugging a man in your life who has a beard.

Apparently, men’s beards can harbor more germs than a dog’s fur.

The study, conducted by European Radiology, revealed that men who were sampled were walking around with beards filled with bacteria and almost half of them had bugs living in their beards that are reportedly hazardous to human health.

On the flip side, according to the Daily Mail, dogs that were tested reportedly proved to have lower levels of microbes.
