Titusville Police, Brevard Sheriff’s Office Nab 22-Year-Old Fugitive Wanted On Numerous Charges

Police say they arrested 22-year-old Amari Nicholas Hair from Titusville on Thursday.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police have arrested a wanted fugitive on Thursday for multiple charges.

Police say they arrested 22-year-old Amari Nicholas Hair from Titusville.

According to the police report, Titusville Police arrested Hair after they responded to the report of a domestic disturbance around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday near Concord Ave.

“The primary investigation has revealed that the suspect fled on-foot northbound from Concord Ave. into a nearby-gated subdivision,” said Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department.

“A perimeter was established around the Plantation Oaks neighborhood. Within minutes, police found the suspect hiding on the back porch of a residence on Peachtree Street and was taken into custody.”

Hair has been charged with the following: Burglary to an Occupied Dwelling Unarmed, Resisting without Violence, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Ecstasy.

Hair also had an active arrest warrant issued by the Titusville Police Department for Burglary to a Dwelling with a Battery on March 30 and active charges for Aggravated Battery to a Pregnant Woman and False Imprisonment on April 1.

Authorities have also charged Hair for Fleeing and Eluding a Law Enforcement Officer at High Speeds with Lights and Siren, Driving While License Suspended and Resisting without Violence issued on April 4 by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Game Over Task Force.

Hair is currently being held at Brevard County Jail without bond.
