Understanding How Shower Heads Have Revolutionized Over the Years

the showerhead has witnessed a great revolution

Man has always sought inventions for convenience. The convenience in having a water flow that would wash off dirt from a body as though it were a guilt of sin was the first inspiration for having an overhead shower.
History showed that the early inventions from the Greeks and the Egyptians were inspired by the extravagant baths that people had underneath natural waterfalls.
The feeling was an ecstatic one and water was lavished, pouring over the head through the hair, and to the shoulders, and then the entire body.
From thence, the showerhead has witnessed a great revolution from a general or common bath place for several people into a controlled rain showerhead system that can serve a person at a time according to their desired flow.
From the early 1900s, the showerhead was becoming a common bathroom fixture. It was a trend among elites who could get plumbers to service their homes. After the Greek and Egyptian customizations, showerheads became what you would call the fountain or rain shower head.
Typically, it consisted of a water pipe, a valve, and a punctured plate that would turn the water flow into a spray.
After then, sleeker bathroom showerheads were fashioned in amazing and creative ways to contain water such that the wideness and the pressure of the water can be controlled.
If compared with some of the available rain showerhead designs in the market now, the early ones were barely different. Today, you would have some brands of revolutionized showerheads referred to as antique, rain showerheads.
Many years later, manufacturing designs of showerheads were to witness a change in how they appeared and functioned because of the new and strict water conservation rules that came from the US Congress in 1992.

From thence, manufacturers of bathroom fixtures had to control their production to see that their showerheads fit the new policy of a maximum pressure flow that would amount 2.5 gallons per minute as dictated by the US government.
Since then, the traditional designs began to take new shapes. Many rain showerhead manufacturers would then reduce the sizes of their showerheads. Some others left it to be bigger while the pore spaces in it are reduced. Other stepped down the flow options and presented the pullout shower faucets to the market.
In more recent times, we have had more numbers of showerhead designs to choose from, for our bathrooms’ convenience. There are designs such as rain showerheads, filter showerheads, fixed and overhead showerheads, wall-mounted, pullout, and so much more.
Technological features are, in fact, stylistically included in these modern and revolutionized showerheads. We now have rain showerheads with LED lights, we have complete shower sets that offer convenience and other thermostatic technology for water temperature controls.
The present trend is only a more considerate revolution of the earlier sets of showerheads. It continues to add styles, class, and technology to influence appearances and options.
Either in a bathtub or a Jacuzzi, showerheads have become a trend in home convenience and designs and they are mere revolutions of the ones from the early 1900s.
