Brevard Fire Rescue Knocks Down Single Wide Mobile Home Blaze, Fire Fighters Save Occupants

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to a single wide mobile home structure fire early Tuesday morning in the 6300 block of U.S. Hwy 1 in north Melbourne.

Brevard County Fire officials said that firefighters pulled the residents out of the structure, who were then transported to a local hospital.

The number of victims and their condition was not released.

According to BCFR, the cause of the fire, which is currently unknown.

BCFR investigators are on scene and will be assisting State investigators with a cause determination.
