Florida Prep will sponsor the Melbourne Regional Chamber of Commerce “Good Morning Space Coast” breakfast set for Thursday, May 2 at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, located at 1551 Highland Avenue in Melbourne.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Florida Preparatory Academy will sponsor the Melbourne Regional Chamber of Commerce “Good Morning Space Coast” breakfast set for Thursday, May 2 at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, located at 1551 Highland Avenue in Melbourne.

Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 8 a.m.

Florida Prep President Dr. Marshall D. Willman will be on hand to talk about the school’s exciting growth plans for the future.

Dr. Willman has been President of Florida Prep since September of 2018.

In 2017-2018, he served as General Manager of Newopen USA, Inc., a subsidiary of an education real estate company in Newport Beach, California whose central aim is to bring its managerial expertise, resources, and funding to private schools in the U.S. and to develop leading-edge academic programs to meet the demands of today’s technologies and industries.

As General Manager of Newopen USA, Dr. Willman negotiated and facilitated the acquisition of Florida Preparatory Academy and later served as CFO, directing Florida Prep’s financial operations and coordinating its campus development plans with the officers and directors of its parent company.

Dr. Willman received his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in 2007 and went on to serve as Professor of Philosophy at the Nanjing branch of the New York Institute of Technology for eight years.

In addition to teaching throughout the U.S., he has lectured and presented papers at several of Asia’s most prestigious universities, including Beijing University, Fudan University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and the National University of Singapore.
