Caring Types – There are people who can perceive Odyssey as a caring father and husband. His soft side was really shown when he was away from his wife for 20 years. He also became proud of his son. This is the case that can be seen with a lot of fathers nowadays.
All in all, there are a lot of types of people who can relate to the main character. However, reading about Odyssey’s faults, these people should be able to recognize their own flaws and make some changes to them.
The main reason why is the Odyssey important today is that people can read this wonderful book, which can serve as a guidepost for their lives. They can simply grab a copy, get swept in the wonderful world of Greek Gods and be amazed at how Homer has composed a breathtaking masterpiece.
