Multi-Award Winning Actor, Matthew Sauvé, Prepares for Upcoming 2019 Projects

Have you ever wondered what it takes to become a successful movie star? They invariably seem to emerge from nowhere and shine like a bright star.
We are overwhelmed and full of praises for them as we witness their brilliant performances in blockbuster movies.
Of course, it’s their inborn passion for acting that makes them a sensation, but their name and success involves a lot of other aspects.
Most of them have had to go through a long journey before they were able to showcase their best on the silver screen. The “One Night Stand” star Matthew Sauvé from Toronto, Canada, is no exception to it. His journey of hitting the sweet spot of acting was a long one.
It took him 12 years to realize that he is cut out for the film industry. Until then, he worked in the police department for the longest period of time. Being raised in a family that was the least artistically inclined, Matthew followed the footsteps of his brother to pursue a career in policing.
While serving as a law-enforcement officer for several years, it finally dawned on him that he should listen to his inner voice. His desire to become an actor was well-ignored for the longest period.
Having made up his mind to follow his heart, he began giving auditions and pursuing acting. Success, however, did not come to him soon. It was only after playing the role of ‘Travis’ in “One Night Stand” that he paved the way to success.
Matthew won the “Best Actor of the Year” award for his lead role in “One Night Stand” at the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival in 2017.
This exceptional performance won him a series of awards and nominations at several European film festivals for the next couple of years. It was his pursuit of success that led him to hit the ground running.
Besides these accolades, Matthew’s career has been impressive, having acted in over 40 movies and 30 television commercials to date. The music video, “Singing in the Rain,” in which he played a significant part topped all the popular U.S. music charts.
He was also the brand ambassador of a leading North American travel airline for two years. Matthew won the hearts of many with his stand-up comedy too. His illustrious journey as a rising star has been truly inspiring.
Matthew Sauvé is enthusiastic about encouraging young aspirants towards acting. He has been conducting acting workshops for children at a film academy in Canada.
Besides, there are some interesting projects for 2019 that are in the pipeline for him. Matthew has been working on a short film, “Endgame,” for which he is playing the role of “John.”
It’s been an exciting journey for him to work with its illustrious filmmakers, Kerry-Lee Finkle, Magalie de Genova, and Simon Reira.
The award-winning actor has high hopes from the film that is scheduled to be released at the end of the year. As he prepares for more, we can expect a lot to come from Matthew Sauvé in 2019.
