BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Agents from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit on Wednesday arrested Tuesday night’s “Wheel of Fugitive” Target, Heather Fisher.
Agents received information that Fisher was hiding at a residence in West Melbourne after Fisher was named the Fugitive of the Week for having two felony warrants for Violation of Probation.
After receiving the information, Agents conducted surveillance at the residence and confirmed that Fisher was hiding inside.
Agents subsequently approached the residence and made contact with Fisher near the back porch of the home.
Fisher refused to comply to commands given by the arrest team and immediately ran back into the residence.
Since agents were at the front door of the residence as well, Fisher climbed through the kitchen window in an effort to escape. Fisher only made it a couple of feet before she was taken into custody by our welcoming committee in the yard.
Fisher stated that she actually saw herself on “Wheel of Fugitive” and also received several messages from acquaintances that she was named the Fugitive of the Week.
Of course, like always, Fisher stated she was going to turn herself in later today after she saw her family.
Fisher was transported to the Brevard County Jail where she was being held on a “No Bond” status for Violation of Probation Reference Possession of Oxycodone, Roxycodone and also for Violation of Probation Reference 2 Counts of Child Neglect.
Another great job by our Fugitive Agents in partnership with our citizens as we work together to keep our community safe!
