Exploration Tower at Port Canaveral Hosts Summer of Space Kid’s Event Saturday

Summer of Space scheduled in conjunction with 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 moon landing

WUCF TV, Central Florida’s PBS station, will celebrate the Summer of Space with Jet Propulsion from the PBS Kids show “Ready Jet Go!” Day at Exploration Tower at Port Canaveral, 670 Dave Nisbet Drive, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 29.

BREVARD COUNTY • PORT CANAVERAL, FLORIDA – WUCF TV, Central Florida’s PBS station, will celebrate the Summer of Space with Jet Propulsion from the PBS Kids show “Ready Jet Go!” Day at Exploration Tower at Port Canaveral, 670 Dave Nisbet Drive, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 29.

The Summer of Space is scheduled in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.

Children of all ages can attend this family-friendly event that includes activities themed around science and astronomy based on the PBS KIDS program. They will also have the chance to meet Jet Propulsion, star of “Ready Jet Go!”

Tickets are $4 plus tax for adults and $2.50 plus tax for children 3-10 if attendees mention “Ready Jet Go!” at the door. No advanced registration is required.
