Merritt Island Resident Marco Dawson Shoots 68 In Round 2, Makes the Cut At 2019 U.S. Senior Open

ABOVE VIDEO:  The culmination of Marco Dawson’s golf career came on the final day of the 2015 Senior Open Championship played at the Sunningdale Golf Club in England. He shot an almost perfect back nine of 31 and finished 16 under for the tournament to defeat PGA legends Bernard Langer and Colin Montgomerie to win the 2015 Senior British Open.

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Merritt Island resident Marco Dawson made the cut after day 2 of the 2019 U.S. Senior Open in South Bend, Indiana.

Dawson shot a 68 on Friday in the second round, bringing his weekend total to even par.

The 2015 Senior British Open Champion Marco Dawson still has some work to do if he wants to have a shot at the top of the leaderboard where Steve Stricker currently leads the field at 14-shots under par for the weekend.

Dawson tee’d off at 11:12 a.m.
