Melbourne Beach police have taken one juvenile male suspect into custody and are searching for two others in relation to alleged vehicle burglaries on Friday evening in the area of the 600 block of Hibiscus Trail

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE BEACH, FLORIDA – Melbourne Beach police have taken one juvenile male suspect into custody and are searching for two others in relation to alleged vehicle burglaries on Friday evening in the area of the 600 block of Hibiscus Trail

According to Detective Sgt. Steven Kino, police first responded to the alleged incidents at around 10:30 p.m.

“The male (suspect) and two other friends then took off running,” said Kino as to the suspects’ reaction when police arrived. “One male was apprehended after a foot pursuit.

Kino added that the suspects “ended up getting some cash” in the burglaries.
