SPACE COAST DAILY TV: The Friday Night Locker Room’s Steve Wilson and Lisa Nicholas bring you the Astronaut Parade from Cocoa Beach, Florida; celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. 

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation will host an Astronaut Parade and Street Party on Saturday, July 13 in Downtown Cocoa Beach.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation will host an Astronaut Parade and Street Party on Saturday, July 13 in Downtown Cocoa Beach.

See our heroes as they ride through the City of Cocoa Beach in convertible Corvettes and witness the future of technology and innovation as the Apollo families ride in Teslas.

The parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the after street party will start at 11:30 a.m.

Free to the community, the parade route starts at 4th Street North and proceeds south on Orlando Avenue, ending at 1st Street South.

The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation will host multi-day events highlighting one of the most memorable moments in history – man’s first steps on the Moon – and the exploration efforts that followed bringing the United States towards today’s deep space exploration.
