BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Kudos go to Brevard County Fire Rescue C-Shift crews that were extremely busy performing their critical work this Fourth of July all across the Space Coast.
According to Brevard County Rescue, units responded to approximately 323 total calls, including 13 vehicle collisions, two working structure fires, five brush fires, one gas leak/odor – and a few hundred medical emergencies including a fireworks-related injury and a pediatric near drowning.
These numbers don’t reflect calls transferred to municipalities with no Brevard County Fire Rescue response.
“If you think our crews in the field were busy, our rock star E911 dispatchers were put to the test and rocked!” said Brevard County Fire Rescue officials on social media.
