The Brevard Music Showcase will kick off a series of special concerts at this year's Fair

SPACE COAST STATE FAIR PREVIEW: The Spring performs a couple of their favorite songs in lead up to their performance Saturday, November 2 at Space Coast Daily Park.

SPACE COAST DAILY TV: The Sky Club will perform at the Brevard Music Showcase that will feature an All-Star lineup of local bands and musicians Saturday, November 2 at 7 p.m. at Space Coast Daily Park in Viera. Singer/ Guitarist Trey Nestor and Singer/Drummer Jacob Nestor visit the Mike Erdman Cadillac Studios.

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – On Saturday, November 2 the 33rd Annual Space Coast State Fair will feature some of the area’s hottest bands and musicians live in concert.

The Brevard Music Showcase will kick off at 7 p.m. and include former American Idol contestant Mackenzie Carey, The Sky Club and The Spring. The concert is free with a fair-goer’s $20 admission fee, which also includes unlimited rides and shows.

“Brevard County is home to some amazing musicians and this event will be highlighting some of the area’s top talent,” said Gary Greaves of New Ray Media, who is producing and sponsoring the event. “These acts all have bright futures and this will be a great opportunity to see them live at a unique and entertaining venue,” he added

The Brevard Music Showcase will kick off a series of special concerts at this year’s Fair, which also includes southern rock legends Molly Hatchet on November 15th.

SPACE COAST DAILY TV: Brevard star Mackenzie Carey talks about her upcoming performance at the Space Coast State Fair on Saturday, November 2 at Space Coast Daily Park in Viera.

The November 2nd concert lineup is as follows:

Mackenzie Carey – Mackenzie is a country recording artist and received the Golden Ticket to Hollywood on the 2018 reboot of American Idol. It was the culmination of a dream she had when she was 4-years-old and watched the crowning of the first American Idol.

She has been featured at the Johnny Mercer Theatre as a headlining performer, opened for Easton Corbin at Sea World and opened the Runaway Country Music Festival in March 2018 on the main stage.

She returned in 2019 for the Country Thunder Music Fest to open for Luke Combs and Luke Bryan. Mackenzie recently performed for 11,000 Girl Scouts at the Savannah Girl Scout Quest for the tourism bureau.

The Sky Club – Originally from Costa Mesa, California, The Sky Club is an alternative rock trio that includes brothers Trey and Jacob Nestor who grew up in Florida while spending considerable time each year in Southern California. Frequent flights from Florida to California are the origin of the group’s name.

The band consists of Trey (vocals/guitar/keys), Jake (drums), and longtime friend Jonathan Orriss (bass). The band is influenced by U2 and Coldplay and use their music to positively impact fans through heartfelt lyrics and emotionally-charged live performances. The Sky Club’s debut, self-titled EP was recently released and is available on all streaming platforms.

The Spring – Originating from the Space Coast, The Spring commands attention wherever they perform, coupling sailing reverb-filled indie guitar tones with a gritty alternative flair.

Members Manny Fawcett (vocals/rhythm guitar), Matthew Rigsby (lead guitar), Gabriel Ottomanelli (bass) and Levi Tate (drums) have fused together vastly different styles to create a unique sound that has taken the Central Florida music scene by storm.

Originating from the Space Coast, The Spring commands attention wherever they perform, coupling sailing reverb-filled indie guitar tones with a gritty alternative flair.

The band was recently featured on the cover of one of Florida’s premier music magazines, Brevard Live, and crowned winners of WFIT 89.5’s Garage Band Contest. They have performed at numerous regional and national venues, including Winter NAMM in California and most recently at Summer NAMM in Nashville.

The Space Coast State Fair is located at Space Coast Daily Park, across the street from Space Coast Stadium and adjacent to Viera High School.
