Dave Nisbet Drive Bridge to George King Boulevard Closed to Traffic Starting Monday

Barricades and cones will be removed at 7 p.m. on the bridge but the sidewalk will remain closed

One traffic lane and the west-side pedestrian sidewalk along Dave Nisbet Drive Bridge to George King Boulevard will be closed to traffic starting Monday and then intermittently through Aug. 8.

BREVARD COUNTY • BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – One traffic lane and the west-side pedestrian sidewalk along Dave Nisbet Drive Bridge to George King Boulevard will be closed to traffic starting Monday and then intermittently through Aug. 8.

The closures will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, July 29, through Thursday, Aug. 1, and Monday, Aug. 5, through Thursday, Aug. 8, during the first phase of a three-phase bridge work project.

Two-way traffic will continue through this phase of the project.

Crews with Cape Canaveral-based general contractor Doug Wilson Enterprises will barricade the right turn lane and west-side pedestrian lane along the length of the bridge.

The middle turn lane from Dave Nisbet Drive to George King Boulevard will become the usable egress lane during working hours.

Barricades and cones will be removed at 7 p.m. on the bridge but the sidewalk will remain closed.
