BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College Public Safety Institute is offering a part-time Law Enforcement Auxiliary program, set to start September 16.

Classes will meet on the Melbourne Campus, Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-10 p.m. and every other Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Off-campus high liability training locations will include The Palm Bay Campus driving course and the Firearms Range, located in Cocoa off of I-95 on Pluckebaum Road.

This program prepares students for employment or appointment by Criminal Justice agencies, with or without compensation, to assist or aid full-time or part-time Law Enforcement officers.

The curriculum is Florida Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission approved and included both classroom and high liability performance/proficiency-based training.
