Miss Money Partners with AliveShoes to Launch Her Footwear Brand ‘Rich Kickz’

Step aside Nike, Adidas and other popular shoe brands, for there’s a new line coming to a store near you that will leave you feeling hip and oh, so rich. The rapper and now a footwear designer, Miss Money, recently partnered with AliveShoes to launch her unique footwear brand ‘Rich Kickz,’ a limited-edition shoe line.
“I’m so excited to launch my line of footwear,” Miss Money said, a Pittsburgh native. “The shoes are trendy. Anyone who puts them on will be rocking some stylish footwear and looking rich.”
Miss Money is perhaps best known for her star status, community initiatives, a clothing line – Rich Chickz, and her greatest hit, “On The Nephs” – a Rich Chickz Music Group creation, which also refers to her community lingo.
Star Power
Back in 2015, Miss Money had traveled to Miami to rock a headline show with some group members. It was here that she conceptualized what would later birth a movement called ‘Rich Chickz.’ It soon turned into a clothing line which took off quicker than Miss Money could have imagined.
“The line represents the mind, body, and the soul of independent women; building themselves from the bottom up,” she stated.
This talented rapper-cum-designer, Kimberly Ward, is also someone who likes to give back to her community, make a difference in the world, and offer people hope and encouragement. It may very well be because of the way she grew up in the poverty-riddled neighborhood known as the Hill District.
It was where ‘slang’ and ‘Ebonics’ reigned while Miss Money dared to dream big. And while Miss Money may have grown up poor, and got into trouble with the law more times than she cares to remember, she turned her life around to focus on a career in music, while also working on giving back to society.
She was discovered and signed to the A&R record label in 2011, while in Paris. By 2017, Miss Money traveled to New York while doing rounds of interviews with Video City and headlining alongside Wu-Tang Clan. It was during this time that Miss Money wrote the song “On the Nephs.”
She worked hard and made sure that her ‘neighborhood lingo’ was introduced to the world. Soon enough, she would begin touring extensively and would also collect several awards along the way.
She has performed with key artists of her time with big names that include Wiz Khalifa, Dej Loaf, Young M.A., Cardi B, Jadakiss, Lil Durk, MoneyBagg Yo, Bubba Sparxx, Dmx, Polo G, Snootie Wild, and Kirko Bangz, to name a few.
“I wouldn’t say I chose this career; it chose me and it was like I kept walking into musical opportunities and naturally had the gift with crowds of people, creativity, performance and words.”
She continues to strive to get her voice and message out through her own expressions. The Rich Kickz footwear line is just another example of her drive to fulfill her dreams. If anything, she is living proof that with strength and determination, success can be easily attained, no matter how hard the situation is.
