SPACE COAST DAILY TV: In the latest edition of “Sit Down with Steve,” Steve Wilson is on the road as he talks with Cocoa native Deliqua Isom from Atlanta, Georgia. Isom has written a book detailing her life’s story, “Through the Pain, I Rise….let’s talk,” which was written to help young people cope with issues similar to what she has gone through.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – In the latest edition of “Sit Down with Steve,” Steve Wilson is on the road as he talks with Cocoa native Deliqua Isom from Atlanta, Georgia.
Isom grew up in Cocoa, Florida, but as a young adult moved to Georgia.
She endured a horrific childhood, as a young child, she was verbally and sexually abused and also raped.
Somehow, Isom found the courage and strength to persevere. She has been able to turn her life around, and now owns a successful company in Atlanta, the Flawless Fitness Spa.
Isom has written a book detailing her life’s story, “Through the Pain, I Rise….let’s talk,” which was written to help young people cope with issues similar to what she has gone through.
“This is an incredibly important book that raises awareness about abuse, and should be read by all,” said Wilson.
“Isom is a very special individual and will be successful in whatever she chooses to do – and has already proven that!”
