BREVARD COUNTY • NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE, MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Another wet afternoon is expected across east central Florida.
Clouds and showers will increase later this morning, with a few lightning storms.
Coverage and intensity will increase this afternoon, with frequent lightning, 1 – 3 inches of rainfall and gusty winds possible.
Sunday Afternoon: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 2 pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 90. South wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Sunday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely before midnight, then a slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. South southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
