Four People Arrested After Titusville Police Utilize Stakeout To Combat Recent Burglaries In Titusville

Four people were arrested over the weekend after Titusville conducted a stakeout to combat recent burglaries in the area.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Four people were arrested over the weekend after Titusville conducted a stakeout to combat recent burglaries in the area.

Titusville police arrested the following suspects:

• Shane Tyler Townsend, 24, of Mims, charged with Loitering and Prowling

• Damon Sentrel Owens, 31, of Mims, charged with Loitering and Prowling

• Terrill Leon Williams, 27, of Mims, charged with Loitering and Prowling

• Jabraisa Alexis Crankfield, 24, of Orlando, charged with Loitering and Prowling

Police say the burglaries occurred on August 2, which prompted the stakeout occurring at businesses on the 1400 block of Chaffee Drive where locks were sawed off in order to gain access to the business, remain active and ongoing.

“Around midnight on Sunday, August 4, an officer conducting covert surveillance on the 1400 block of Chaffee Drive, encountered two vehicles traveling with the headlights out,” said Titusville police spokesperson Amy Matthews.

“A short time later, officers conducted separate traffic stops on both vehicles that initially fled the area when spotted by police. Officers searched one of the suspect’s vehicles and found a power saw.”

Police are still investigating the case.
