BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Fire Rescue E-3 and E-83 responded to a car fire in the driveway of a home on Emerson Drive NW on Friday.

“The crews did a fantastic job of keeping the fire mostly contained to the vehicle, especially with the close proximity to the house,” said Palm Bay Fire Rescue officials.

“Upon investigation, no damage was discovered inside the house and was limited to the melting of the plastic siding on the exterior.’

The cause of the fire has not been released and there were no injuries.
