Palm Bay Recreation Department’s First Friday by the Bay Rescheduled for August 9

Instead of a live band this month, the event will feature music and Karaoke by DJ Tom of Tritt Productions

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Parks & Recreation Department has announced that their First Friday by the Bay event which was canceled last Friday, August 2, due to rain, has been rescheduled for Friday, August 9 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the new location, Veterans Memorial Park, 2201 Port Malabar Blvd NE, in Palm Bay.

The Blue Diamond Band, who were originally scheduled to appear, were not available for August 9. The band will be rescheduled at a future First Friday event.

Instead of a live band this month, the event will feature music and Karaoke by DJ Tom of Tritt Productions. Participants are invited to show off their singing skills and be the star of the show.

There will be food, beer & wine, vendors, and a kids’ zone, along with music and Karaoke. You may also call the special events rain-out hotline at 321-726-5682 if the weather looks like it will not cooperate.
