The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking certified Corrections Officers to join our team and help us keep Brevard County a safe place to call home.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking certified Corrections Officers to join our team and help us keep Brevard County a safe place to call home.

Our agency offers a very competitive benefits package that includes medical and life insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, holiday leave, college tuition reimbursement, and participation in the Florida Retirement System.

We also offer a *hiring bonus up to $3,000 to certified applicants who have at least two years of prior experience.

Our Corrections Deputies perform many roles in the Jail Complex, including Booking Deputy, Transportation Deputy, Training Deputy, and Recruiter.

They also have the opportunity to participate on specialty teams, such as the Dive Team, K-9 Team, Emergency Response Team, and the distinguished Honor Guard.
