SPACE COAST DAILY TV: Brevard County Government Assistant Manager Jim Liesenfelt addresses bus patrons during Space Coast Area Transit “Ride With Jim” series. Today’s Ride with Jim will provide the general public and community stakeholders an opportunity for an interactive conversation with those who help shape Brevard County Housing and Human Services.
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The third Ride with Jim event of 2019, “Housing and Human Services,” is set for Wednesday and participants will meet at the Brevard County Government Center, Building C at 8:45 a.m.
Wednesday’s Ride with Jim will provide the general public and community stakeholders an opportunity for an interactive conversation with those who help shape Brevard County Housing and Human Services.
Co-sponsored by Bagel 13, the event begins with a bus picking up registered riders at the Complex Cafe in the Brevard County Government Center and driving them to a Bagel 13 restaurant to chat over coffee and a bagel with Ian Golden, Director of Brevard County Housing and Human Services, and Jim Liesenfelt, Assistant Brevard County Manager.
“I like to think of it as an open house on wheels,” stated Liesenfelt.
Brevard County Housing and Human Services contribute to the county’s quality of life by providing services to low and moderate-income individuals and families. The three main programs Housing and Human Services oversee include Community Resources, Housing, Veteran’s Services.
The final 2019 Ride with Jim is “Mobility Week and Transit” on October 29 and will feature Liesenfelt and Transit Director Scott Nelson.
