SPACE COAST DAILY TV MORNING WEATHER REPORT: Space Coast Daily’s Chris Bonanno discusses Brevard’s weather for Sunday and takes a look at the tropics. Showers and thunderstorms are likely Sunday after 1 p.m. Skies will be partly sunny, with a high near 94 with heat index values as high as 110 and south wind 5 to 10 mph.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – A Heat Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service in Melbourne for north Brevard for peak Heat Index values between 106 and 110 until 4 p.m.

Be sure to stay hydrated, if outdoors, take frequent breaks in the shade or AC, and never leave kids or pets unattended in a car

Showers and thunderstorms are likely Sunday after 1 p.m. Skies will be partly sunny, with a high near 94 with heat index values as high as 110 and south wind 5 to 10 mph.

The chance of precipitation is 60 percent with new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

On Sunday night, a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 75. Southwest wind around 5 mph.

Monday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 1 pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 93. Heat index values as high as 105. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south southeast in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Monday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 76. West southwest wind around 5 mph.

Tuesday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 1 pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 92. West southwest wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Tuesday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 76. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west northwest in the evening.
