SPACE COAST DAILY TV: Watch the Space Coast Surf & Beach Weather Report for August 3-4, with Bobby Freeman.

SATURDAY

SURF – Finally, we have a weekend with some small but fun surf. However, surfers need to watch for thunderstorms.

Most surf spots are 2’ – 3’ with southwest winds around 10 MPH producing semi-clean lines. Best surf spots will be in south Cocoa Beach and down to Melbourne Beach.

If the weather is good, grab your favorite board and go surf!

High Tide – 9:59 am Low Tide – 4:21 pm

WEATHER – Mostly cloudy with showers. Highs around 88°F. South southwest wind to 10 mph, gusting to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation 80-percent.

SUNDAY

SURF – Expect the same conditions compared to Saturday with slightly less offshore winds. Most spots will be better around low tide. Should be another fun day of surfing but having to dodge thunderstorms might be a challenge. Dawn patrol and an afternoon session are on my schedule for Sunday.

High Tide – 10:41 am Low Tide – 5:04 pm

WEATHER – Mostly cloudy with showers likely. Highs around 88°F. Southwest winds to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 70-percent.
