Both Arroyo and Norton had banner sophomore seasons as each threw for more than 3,000 yards and helped lead their teams to the playoffs.

Norton, the 2018 Space Coast Daily Offensive Player of the Year, threw for 3,353 yards and 32 touchdowns and rushed for 1,338 yards and 13 touchdowns – making him the first prep first quarterback in Florida to throw for more than 3,000 yards and rush for over 1,000 yards since Tim Tebow did it in 2005.

Arroyo broke the Tiger’s single-season record for most passing yards and touchdowns strikes with 3,492 and 29, respectively.

Bryce Norton, the 2018 Space Coast Daily Offensive Player of the Year, threw for 3,353 yards and 32 touchdowns, along with rushing for 1,338 yards and 13 touchdowns. Indeed, he became the prep first quarterback in Florida since Tim Tebow did it in 2005 to throw for more than 3,000 yards and rush for over 1,000 yards.

Diego Arroyo broke the Tiger’s single-season record for most passing yards and touchdowns strikes with 3,492 and 29, respectively.

During the interview with Rocco at the Space Coast Daily–Friday Night Locker Room Erdman Cadillac Studios, the quarterbacks discussed their goals for the upcoming 2019 season.

“My goal is to break my own record,” said Arroyo, while Norton said he’s focused on the new season and will strive to do his best.

Both quarterbacks are already being heavily recruited by Division 1 universities as they enter their junior seasons.

Thus far, Arroyo has received an offer from the University of Kentucky, while Norton has received offers from Troy University and a FCS offer from Jacksonville University.

Both student-athletes are looking to continue to be the top quarterbacks in the state and contribute to their team’s success throughout the next two years of their high school careers. They both have the same goal of playing Division 1 football.

I’m sure they will continue to work hard both on and off the field, and may even face each other at the next level.
