BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – One person is dead and two others were wounded after a shooting incident on the 1600 block of Fallon Boulevard NE on Thursday morning, according to Lt. Steve Bland with the Palm Bay Police Department.

As part of the incident, a male shooting suspect shot a female and a 17-year-old boy, Bland said.

Palm Bay Police Chief Nelson Moya said that the 17-year-old boy called 911 at 7:10 a.m. and said he had been shot in the leg.

The male suspect later took his own life, Bland said, as part of what is likely a domestic incident.

“It appears that they were all related,” Bland said.

Nearby Port Malabar Elementary School was placed on lockdown as the situation unfolded, but that was lifted after 9 a.m.
