The Brevard County Health Department has lifted its countywide precautionary swim advisory for all public beaches after Hurricane Dorian.

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Health Department has lifted its countywide precautionary swim advisory for all public beaches after Hurricane Dorian.

The Brevard County Health Department Environmental Health Services conducted saltwater beach water quality sampling for enteric bacteria through the Healthy Beaches Monitoring Program.

Based on the satisfactory microbial water quality test results, the Brevard County Health Department canceled the countywide precautionary swimming advisory that was posted on September 4 for all Brevard County public beaches.
