FHP: One Person Dead in Single Vehicle Crash On U.S. Highway 1 and Rocket Road Early Monday

Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are on the scene of a fatal vehicle crash that occurred in north Brevard County at 5:45 a.m. Monday. According to Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Kim Montes, the crash occurred on U.S. Highway 1 and Rocket Road and was reported to Florida Highway patrol as a vehicle vs a pole.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are on the scene of a fatal vehicle crash that occurred in north Brevard County at 5:45 a.m. Monday.

According to Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Kim Montes, the crash occurred on U.S. Highway 1 and Rocket Road and was reported to Florida Highway patrol as a vehicle vs a pole.

Lt. Montes said that the victim was pronounced dead on the scene of the crash.

There is a roadblock in the area so please use caution.

The circumstances of the crash and the identity of the victim have not yet been released.
