The suspect is identified as 38-year-old Donta Jermaine Childs.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police are seeking to locate a suspect wanted for first-degree murder.

The suspect is identified as 38-year-old Donta Jermaine Childs.

Police describe him as 5-foot-8 and is known to frequent the Post Rd. area and/or the beachside areas.

If you know the whereabouts of Childs, authorities ask you to contact Crimeline at 1-800-423-Tips.

Police do not want citizens approaching Childs or attempt to apprehend him.
